I love boxes!

Boxes! I love everything about them. They hold a surprise, a mystery… when closed and then open they are full of possibility. What’s inside? I just finished making another pochade watercolor box for one of my creative sisters. Again, like the one I made for myself I used an old wooden cigar box that has a lid that doubles as an easel for a small watercolor pad.  I decorated the top with a photo collage from Bella Grace magazine. The box is great for working outside or in smaller places. It carries all you need for small watercolor sketches. I use mine in the house on my lap and sometimes in the car on longer trips. And, of course on picnic tables when camping and sometimes at the beach! Do you have a special box that you love? What secrets does it hold?
