How is this month almost over? I feel like I’ve been busy with L I F E ! But I have started some new acrylics. I just don’t know where they are going or when they will be finished. So, I’ve made some ATC art in sleeves to send to a special friend who needs some cheering up. One of my Love Notes Postcard friends sent me one of these and I just thought it was too much F U N! Thanks to Cheri in Reno! I have another in the works. It keeps my brain in the art studio when I don’t know what to do with the bigger things. Would this cheer you up? (It shows the front and back!) Cheers to all. Happy almost February!
ATCs and a 5″x7″ postcard painting in the works.
Art for Appetizers – Woodburning & ATC’s
I am taking Woodburning for Mixed-Media Artists with Carla Sonheim – an online course. Mark making and drawing with a woodburning tool and some watercolors on paper is fun, fun, fun!
Art for Appetizers – ATCs (Artist Trading Cards)
These are just fun to do, little bits of art that I send to friends via snailmail!
I get to use up paint from my palette, bits of paper from collages, postage stamps, rubber stamps and even pressed leaves or flowers. Little Tapas to whet my appetite for the larger work. Why not have some fun today and do your own ATCs. They measure abut 2.5″x3.5″ and there are no rules other than to have fun and give them away.
Why not say hello to a friend today with an ATC?
